The Belt Drive 4G Bicycle Engine Coming Soon!

Timing belts, like those used in motorcycles and automobiles, have long been the choice for superior power transfer.  Their operation is whisper silent with a longevity lasting hundreds of thousands of miles.  Throw in the simplicity of CNC machined sprockets supported by 4 sealed cartridge bearings, and you have the new 4G Timing Belt Drive Bicycle Engine.

The 4G engine kit boasts an astounding 150 miles per gallon and all day cruising speed of 30 miles per hour.  With a rope pull start for ease of use, these engines are designed for commercial and governmental use to consistently be ran at full RPM.

The 4G Timing Belt Drive is built for use with the reliable and economical HuaSheng 142F engine.  The HuaSheng 142F carries a 6 month warranty and is nut for bolt exactly the same as the Honda GXH50. There is virtually no maintenance aside from a routine changing of oil thanks to an iron-lined cylinder and quality engineering.

HuaSheng 142F 4G Bicycle Engine Kit Includes:
  • HuaSheng 142F Rope Pull Start Engine
  • 4G Timing Belt Transfer Case with 11 Tooth Freewheeling Output Sprocket
  • 2.5 Liter Gloss Black Gas Tank
  • All Steel Motor Mount
  • 50 Tooth Drive Sprocket with Mounting Hardware
  • Twist Throttle with Integrated Kill Switch
  • Wide 3 Piece Bottom Bracket with 5.5" Crank Arms
  • 1 Piece to 3 Piece Conversion Kit Including Bearings
  • Sealed Cartridge Bearing Chain Tensioner
  • 415 3/16" x 1/2" Drive Chain
  • Assembly Instructions
  • Engine Maintenance Manual LOCATED HERE

The patent pending eccentric cam allows for quick and easy tightening of the timing belt.

I havent tried it yet, but I intend to. I like the idea of a quieter engine, and of course the oil resevoir will make those akward "out of fuel" moments a little less akward. Id sacrifice power for dependability any day.

I just received my 4 stroke HuaSheng. I've only had it running for 1 day but I love this bike so far. Not just the engine but the frame too. Most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. Larger frame with no bending over the bike. The engine is extremly smooth and quite. I'll post a follow up in a few weeks regarding the clutch as I intentd to take it to town often (an 8 mile trip). Spooky tooth bikes are evolving and getting better and better. What doesn't work is thrown out and what does work will stick around until something better comes along.

I sure hope the good people at Spooky tooth don't get pissed with I try to upgrade my order to include a 4G smilies/grin.gif !!! I was impatient as always, but i live in the city of the east coast... The Piedmont which translates as "hilly land" Anyway I search the internet while I was waiting and realized it's much better to start off with your ideal setup. Can't wait to pull up to the pool this summer!!
