Bisbee 2007/10/30 01:41 Karma: 4
Is there any interest for having a motorized bicycle rally in Bisbee soon? Bisbee Bar Crawl?

How about Kitt Peak, or the back side of Catalina Mt. Threw Oracle?

The backside of the Catalina mountains is beautiful. I have ridden a motorcycle all the way to the top before. It's all dirt road. Perhaps around the base of the mountains would be a good place.

Yeah the back road is a little to ruff for motorized bike's, I was thinking of the picnic area behind the Mountain, if they are still there it has been at least 15 years since I've been there. I thought a Rally from Tucson to the back side would be cool.

I want to take over Bisbee with motorized bicycles some day soon. There are always countless motorcycles cruising through town...it's time for something new.

What's the best way to get to Bisbee on a MB from Tucson?

There are some beautiful scenic routes in southern Arizona - not Interstate 10. Perhaps a good route would be going south towards Sonoita/Patagonia from Tucson and then heading east towards Sierra Vista, and then towards Bisbee. It would be a nice adventure on a motorized bicycle.

The Spooky Tooth crew here in Bisbee wants to do a rally/race soon. We have some roads already picked out that would be good for hauling ass on. Maybe we could have a bar crawl in the evening? Would riders from Tucson be able to get to Bisbee for a rally?

Down Naco Hwy to Purdy Lane over to Warren Rd and back up to Bisbee would be a good ride.

Those are nice routes to Bisbee.
If we do have a rally in Bisbee, I think it would be a little hard for us Tucsonans to ride to bisbee spend the day, and then ride home. That may be too long of a ride for some of us. If we do have a rally, and I have no plans I do have a truck and trailer that can be used to hual MB's.
