Wow! That will be one sweet looking ride.

Welcome to the forum natbot, glad to have you with us. I really cant give that much advice on a bike like that, never done a womans bike. From the pic it looks like it should work without to much modification, almost any bike will need some modification. I do see a problem with the fuel tank. It look's like it will be at such a angle that you may not be able to fill it all the way. There are other fuel tanks that you can mount to the handlebars and I've seen some that mount in the rear.
Hopefully Roland can pop in and have a little more advice on the matter. To get a faster response, you may want to send a e-mail out to him. "Contact us" right below the spookytooth header next to "home". Or you could try to post under "Post tech Questions here"

You may find that mounting one of the frame mount type kits on a women's bike a little more work than you want to do....IF the engine will fit in the space between the frame rails, AND you can get the tank mounted somewhere, you are still going to have to brave a hot engine in the crotch or worse- a spark plug wire where you don't really want it when you get on or off the bike.

Wome's bikes are nice for rack mount applications, or electric hubs....I think you are better off finding a suitable men's bike.

Now, having said that, if you choose to accept this mission, we will appreciate a full build report from you complete with photos!

Sexist? Hell, I didn't design the damn things!

As for this other bike, the front frame tube will have to be drilled or otherwise a new/imaginative engine mount will have to be fabricated.

Also, the three speed rear hub will most like cause you great consternation since you'll have to drill/grind out the center hole in the drive side sprocket.

GRR, I am about to give up on the whole thing!

But I appreciate the helpfulness here, so I'm forewarned about what I'm up against.

Any thoughts on this one?

Don't give up!

That bike is similar....you'll have to drill the lower tube, or use a "J" shaped muffler hanger and get imaginative with the mounting. May prove to be a tight fit from the looks of it too.

Have you considered getting an older bike and mounting the engine on it? Custom paint, accesories and some new shiny bits will set you back less than the price of a new bike fo' sho'.

Maybe buy one that is already built and ready to run?
