hi guys, my name is Gabe and i've been into classic bicycles since i learned to ride a bike. now as a 25 year old mechanic for anything from boats and pwc's in the summer to snowcats, snowmobiles, etc in the winter i'm really interested in getting some cheap fun transportation together for the summer. these bikes have really got my attention. i'm hoping to learn enough to put together a very very fast bicycle or a greener form of transportation using biodiesel or brown gas from a hho generator. if anyone has any info about that i'd love to hear it.

plus any random mechanical questions anyone has i'd love to try to answer. i've also been experienced in high performance japanese and european cars, turbocharging, fuel injection systems, diesel powertrains, etc.

Welcome Gabe to the forum. Yes, these bikes are cheap to run, they pay for themselfs real fast and are alot of fun. I think Spooky tooth has something about brown gas in his blog but not too sure, it's been awhile since I read it.
