Hey guys ... I'm hopefully attaching a picture of the carb ...

I've got the trottle working now. I can get him started with the choke still about 1/4 down and now I can get it to fully close after just a bit without the rev and smoke.

Kicker is now on the flat it still naturally, no trottle twisting, will do about 12MPH. I need to get it Adjusted so that it runs a little slower than that ... flat out scares the living S@!T out of me taking turns! I was wondering how the cruiser style brake works and if it's okay to use it with the clutch engaged?

O.K......a couple of things.

First, all my engines start better with 3/4 choke, so you are "normal" there.

Now, You aren't really supposed to go too slow with these. Think of a motorcycle stuck in 3rd or 4th gear, that's about how these are geared. You let the clutch out at about 10 mph, and accelerate from there. (and that's almost too slow) if you want to go 10-12 mph, you should have the clutch in and locked.

Explain the function of the clutch.

Explain how the cruiser bike brake works with this kit installed.

Single plate dry clutch (like a car) used to engage the engine to the drive train.

The brake on a coaster brake wheel operates by expanding a set of shoes inside the hub. When you pedal backwards it pulls two similar pieces (cone shaped) together and that's what makes the shoes expand or seperate.

Brandon,
I'm not sure how to handle your tire issue. I would just read the sites manual on how to line up the tire ... I guess it's pretty good because I haven't had your problem yet. I remember reading something about washers ... I think?

WOW ... 35 Going down hill ... Were you able to hang on or did you go airborne?!?!?! I'd have loved to seen it! Well, now you have a WAR story ... everybody's gotta have one! Would love the details if you have the time.
