Hello from Mesa Arizona 2008/07/21 03:27 Karma: 0
I am new to motorized bicycling. I have just over 2 months and 1000 miles on my first build. I am hooked and bring with me a long fascination with the human powered bicycle.

I started commuting in 1973 when gas tripled in price overnight to $1.00 per gallon. Well there is no more efficient way of transport when considering calories of energy burned per mile traveled. This has to be on the good side as I can now travel farther and with more enjoyment that in 15 years. I have slowly given up cycling over that period because of a bad back.

Well now I am back at it and eager to learn about motorizing bicycles. I build bicycle frames and trailers that go behind a bike. I guess I could build other things but this is what I do for fun if I am not riding or busy as a father and grandpa. I am eager to meet all here.

Instead of an Image (that failed) I am adding a link to mom's site that has some bike photos of me & my work over the years...
