Hey folks, glad to have found you. New chapter. Vehicle up for sale and got my eyes on Spookytooth. Buds at work can't wait to see me cruisin in and parking next to their Harleys. Right on. I'm in Maine. Anyone got a Spookytooth up here?

Thanks for the response. Can't wait to get it done, very close now. I've narrowed to the Qurve, Violation or Industrial. Gotta have the 48cc here in Maine. The Qurve is attractive for the gearing, otherwise it's just looks. Is the 7-speed on the bike side a big advantage? Also, would you go to the 36 tooth sprocket over the 44 for speed? Thanks much,
Tim

tja, I have a single speed, there are times I wish I had multi speed. Of course we have alot of elevation change here in AZ, dont know how flat it is where you are from. MY advice, go ahead and get the 7speed; much easier now then later.
I had a 36t, and I've gone up several mountains with it, 9,000ft Mt. Lemon, A mt. Had to do a little pedaling but nothing too bad.We have a 20mph speed limit and I decided not to long ago to go with the 44t and I'm very happy with it. A was able to go up A MT. with no pedaling. Have not tried MT. Lemon yet but looking forward to it.

The 48cc to me seems to come up to RPM's faster then the so called 80cc (it's really 67cc)so with a 36t you should be okay. I'm around 160 and I can get my 44t a little over 30mph but it really twist the motor hard. I think if you have it flat the 36t will do just fine and you can go alot faster if you dont have mph limit. And if it doesnt work for you, a 44t sprocket is only a few buck's and you can always change it out.
