Power tools don't hurt kittens--people do. 2008/05/18 05:52 Karma: 0
Greetings

Just ordered an Industrial this week and terribly excited about it. They say it should come in a month or so.

Thinking about getting some real bright lights for the thing for riding rural backroads at night. We have a lot of dirt roads around here and hope the thing is fairly well suited for that. Have been reading and pondering how to get a case of beer between the store and my friends house. Trailer seems the obvious answer, but who knows--maybe that would be unacceptably stupid looking. (Not that I care to much about my image). Bob Ibex, although expensive and funny looking, seems to make the most sense. Understand a bright yellow strobe light can be mounted on that thing with a 12V battery in the trailer. Any comments?

I sure would like to hear from anybody who has an Industrial model from SpookyTooth. Will be getting the metric tools they recommend having. Have you found any other necessary things to keep your Industrial on the road?
How does the thing ride?

Do we know the type of engine this is so that we can source parts elsewhere if necessary?

Does anybody know pricing on engine parts? The web page has an engine
parts page with kill switches and air filter upgrades. How much for pistons eh?

Should mention my other vehicle is a 3-wheeled Cushman cop cart from
NYPD. Will try to get yall some photos of that soon. Although off topic, no doubt users of this forum will like to see the thing and know they are available.

I am a user on MotoredBikes.com also. That forum seems to have a ton of valuable info, however for casual chit-chat about Spooky specific products, this may be better. The forum admin people on MBc appear to have a big huge tangled mess on their hands and they are frustrated.

ok...jef
