Greetings, just wandered in here from the interwebs. I've been researching electric/gas bikes, and am still unsure what I ultimately will get. I currently have a MTB with street slicks on it I use to commute to work (12mi round trip). I'm debating between a DIY motor kit, or a brand new bike. I really like the bare bones chrome kit...me likey da shiney stuff! Anyone have advice for a complete noob, or have a testimonial about a bike/kit you love?

When I saw you were from California, I had to says Whusssup!
I grew up in the east bay "Hayward", now I live in Fresno.
I ordered the dresser, all chrome.. It should be arriving this week. I have about a 16 mile commute round trip, after I take it for a spin I will let you know what I think.

Right on, I love the look of that dresser...but I'm thinking about the Bare Bones black. Let me know how the bike is...ride quality, speed, reliability, etc.
