boreing the carb jet it really works 2007/09/04 02:28 Karma: 4
well a few days ago i took apart my carb because it was leaking abit'' as i said in a different post'' and i thaught mabey i can do a little upgrade so i took a sewing pin needle and put it in the jet hole it was a little hard to get in a few times but i just kinda spun and turned it around in the jet so it was the size of the pin. so i instaled it i did not know a super big difference because i was worried about the massive leak i had at the time. but i fixed the leak temporarley with gasket maker. once i did that yesterday and today ive noticed the biggest difference in performence im topping out at 45mph tops but the acceleration with my 36t sprocket is as good as a regular motor with a 50 tooth sprocket.lol it is fast. i love it. just a tip for anyone who wants a little performence upgrade. plus it really helps keep the motor cool out here in arizona but for some colder states i dont know if a jet bore is a good idea im shure joe can tell you a little more about the weather situation on these motors.

sorry for the bad spelling.
hell ya!!!

Hi schwinnrider, My name is brandon and iam from pittsburgh, PA. I am new to this site and the world of motorized bicycles. I am very glad i stubbled on this site and some1 with a similair bike because no body around here has ever heard of these bikes. I recently built an 80cc beach cruiser Kulana that looks alot like the bike in your pic. i was wondering if you had a solution to help me stop my engine chain from rubbing and eatin away @ my rear tire since you have a similar bike. My rear tire exploded gonig down a hill at 35mph and i broke my arm and shattered my collarbone. So, i bought a new tire and am waiting til i can get some help so it dont happen again and before i get back on it and it happens again. Id appreciate it and thank you for your time! u can also email me at southerlin22@comcast.net . Thanks again-Brandon.

Spooky has you covered for all you bike and kit parts- look to the right on this page, under "Catalog".

As for your tire problems Brandon, usually you'll need to go to a 2.00 or 1.90 tire to prevent rubbing.

How long did you let your tire rub for it to wear through? Tell me you never saw it coming....

Please don't do what I just did and upload a 900x600 pic!

Better yet, when you click "reply" there is a "select image file to attatch. Use that.
