I am planning on putting a engine on a bike that I have. The bike has coster brakes and ape hanger handle bars. Question one is can I use the coster brakes on the bike or do I have to go to a different breaking system and the second question is can I get a long throttle cable and kill switch cable for the ape hanger handle bars or do I need one at all.

A coaster brake will work with very minor modifications to the wheel. Grind off the flange from the dust cap, and make a shallow "z" bend in the brake arm.

You will likely have to find longer cable and wire.
