Hi Spooky Tooth, Just received my new bike Thursday night, put it together Friday and gassed it up. No luck getting it going. Engine turned over fine...clutch engaged and disengaged fine...fuel to the carb fine. Decided to sleep on it. Today (Saturday), thought about a post I had read here about altitude...bought the bike fully assembled and tested...Bisbee is at approx. 5300' above sea level, I'm in Maine at perhaps 80'...tweaked the carb valve from 1:00 to 2:30 and she finally fired and caught!! Let her warm up for 5 minutes, no load, and then took her out for a 10 minute 15 mph ride...shut her down. After 25 minutes and cool to the touch tried again, same routine. After a few tries, again fired and after warm up, there I go again...same routine. Now can't get her to fire. Pulled the plug, and no spark when rotating with clutch engaged. Replaced the plug with a new one per BikeGuy Joe post..NGK B5HS gapped at .038...no spark. Disconnected kill switch at throttle...no spark. Sounds to me like a faulty magneto, any insights??? Help SPOOKY TOOTH.
