Visiting SpookyTooth 2008/10/07 12:13 Karma: 0
I live in Mesa, AZ. 2 months ago I saw an engine on my son's workbench. "You building a huge model airplane?" Nope, several of us at the Boeing plant are building motorized bicycles. I wanted one! I told a friend about it. We both ordered the 48cc kits.
Once we got the kits we took the engines around Walmart, Target, and places to find bikes that would fit. Both of us settled on a $99 Schwinn coaster brake bike at Walmart.
Then we decided we wanted extra stuff from Spooky like center stands, mirrors, and a front brake.

My friend, a HUGE western movie freak, said Geez, let's just drive down there and visit Tombstone on the way! Tombstone is right near Bisbee! If you have seen the movies, "Wyatt Earp" or "Gunfight at the OK Corall", Tombstone is a fantastic place to visit, and unlike other tourist attractions, is almost free. It does cost $9 to get into to the OK Corral, but you get to see it all. Boot Hill Cemetary is for real, the actual cemetary, they just ask for a small donation, as it is a real city cemetary. Last month we drove down there.
When we walked into SpookyTooth we instantly felt like we were among freinds. We got the grand tour.
Roland, Heather, the crew, the dogs,(and after out second visit today) the kitten, we know that we are friends.

Today we did 475 miles round trip from Mesa to Bisbee and back, a fantastic one day trip !!! Lots of photos of mines, and even photos of the oldest trailer park in the country, right in Bisbee!

When you meet Roland, Heather, and the crew, you know what customer service is what it is supposed to be. They are the most honest, caring, easy going people I have met in years.
If you have any oppertunity to meet them, You will be glad you did.
Don here. I live in Mesa, AZ. Been in Arizona for 5 years now, before that, 28 years in St. Petersburg, FL as official photographer for the City of St. Pete.
Many motorcycles but this is my first bike since I was 15. This bike is my new photography platform. I bought a trailer for it.

Nice report! I have been to Tombstone in '77.

Now, what's all this about dogs and the oldest trailer park in the country!?!

Roland, are you guys holding out on me?

No problem I like helping.

I love both dogs and trailers. I live in a trailer with tree dogs and Mrs. Joe.
We bought the trailer a couple of years ago(a 1976 Freedom 14X70)7 acres and two nice insulated 24'x24' pole buildings for 25 grand.

I converted one of the pole buildings into my office and heated work shop.
Life is good....
