Questions on the Qurve... 2008/10/09 17:11 Karma: 1
The description on the Qurve includes the following:

3-piece Hot Forged Aluminum Crank Arm Set

The pictures that come with the description show (at least as far as I can tell) a 1 piece crank...which is correct?

Other pictures also show a quick release seat post but that is not listed in the description...

1 1/8" (28.6mm) Anti-Slip Grating Seat Post is how it is described...is it quick release?

Also does it include both chain guards when you order...I would be riding it in dress (work) clothes and it would help greatly if these items came with the MB.

Can anybody from Spooky clarify this? Thanking you in advance...

One more question...the pictures also indicate that in includes the Shimano Tourney derailleur...the pictures show it as SIS...does this MB as presented by Spooky Tooth have SIS (Shimano Index Shifiting?) feature...if it does that would be something cool to list in the description...

That is good to know...I have been watching this site for about six months have got the sense that this is a good place to buy. I have seen the responses that Roland and crew have given and it does indicate to me that they do care...are you at liberty to disclose the resolution? I still am confused by the descriptions of the Qurve and the corresponding pictures which do not seem to match...I do not envy Roland and crew running a small biz and having to maintain the website too...and people like me asking so many questions...no doubt there will be some kinks along the way...the real test is how one responds to these kinks...your response indicates that SpookyTo's response was satisfactory...Any body out there have the Qurve that would care to respond to my inquiry?...

Can't specifically answer your question, but I think parts can vary a bit. For example, I got a chrome dresser. In som pix, the tank was painted silver, and in others black. I got black.

They seem to have a lot of parts options, so it's kind of an open question what is, or is there a "standard issue" version of each bike.

Must check out this qurve bike. I'm starting to think about getting a second one for spring, when pleasure rides would be better with company!

Has anybody ordered a Qurve lately and able to answer any of the questions that I have? I would be interested in receiving it dissembled if that might possibly make any difference.
