Come on everybody.... We bought a Chinese motor bike kit. You have to have a little creativity when encountering problems. I have 30 some miles on my 48cc now! At 150 mpg, and Spooky recommends 10 minute rides, at no more than 15 mph, til yo go through 2 gallons of gas... In about a month, I may have it broke in, LOL 30 miles and my muffler baffel fell out 1.5 times. First time, it fell out and I found it after realizing why it got loud.. Solution. I drilled a hole where the screws were, bolted it, and LocTite. THEN I drilled a hole on top and bottom. Wrapped about 8 wraps of small copper wire to lock the baffel in, then a small amount of JB Weld to be sure vibration will not unraves the wire. Stripped threads- Most citys have a specialized nut&bolt company. I bought the 48cc stud all-thread for $1.85 for a 3 foot length. BINGO !! Stronger studs for the head studs, intake, exhaust, motor mounts....
Don here. I live in Mesa, AZ. Been in Arizona for 5 years now, before that, 28 years in St. Petersburg, FL as official photographer for the City of St. Pete. Many motorcycles but this is my first bike since I was 15. This bike is my new photography platform. I bought a trailer for it.

Don't have too much confidence in Loctite working around extreme heat. I have a 120 cc paramotor engine and Loctite just burns off the head studs and exhaust studs and becomes ineffective.

Yes, it may on that engine. You are running a lot harder with the paramotor. I use loctite on the exhaust with no problem.
