I get a GPS number of 28.8 with one, 37.5 with another. Both are 44T stock everything.

Your results may vary.

Thanks to MangoMike and Bikeguy Joe. Interesting results and would welcome more. Mine is stock too. On a true flat, my bike maxes out at about 29mph according to my wireless Strada. I'm quite pleased with that, but wondered if I might coax more by replacing gaskets, new/better air filter and/or whatever tuneup I might be able to do. 37 on a flat I am positively unable to achieve at this point. I'm not trying to be any kind of speed demon...LOL.. but would like to know that I could get more if I wanted. Anyone??
Thanks,

Make sure you have the best carb mix, a new plug (NGK B5HS)and wire (7mm) will go a long way toward smoothing them out and giving easier starting and top speed.

A 40T sprocket, removing or opening up your baffle will gain you a few extra each...after the warranty period of course.

I have a 80cc motor with a 36T sprocket. She's all broken in and then some. On a flat surface gets to about 32-33mph and feels like it's gonna fall apart. I rarely take her over 28, but when you're in traffic and gotta speed it up some you'll take what you can get. I think I'll get that new plug&wire tomorrow...

Hey, glad to see this string still alive....44 tooth here, 80cc, 200# and max out at about 30mph on a flat surface...and yeah she's screamin. Am going to replace gaskets and torq the head with a torq wrench this winter, replace the plug wire with a new one and whatever anyone else has for suggestions to get a little more out of this baby. Havin a whole lot of fun and getting a lot of "WTF was that" looks with my Spooky, even from the cops. Keep on keepin on

Most seem to run in the 30 mph tops range.
Once in awhile you'll get a smoother one that will rev a little higher, but generally, that's it.

I just matched up my gasket to the intaske tube and kinda ported in the best I could, smoothed it out and opened it up some...I drilled the jet 2 drill sizes bigger...Made a big difference, more torque...I need a smaller back sprocket big time....Max`s out a 32 mph before it`s sceeming it`s head off, but has more throttle too....
