If I need to register the bike, how do I go about it?

In most states registration is not necessary because they are not mopeds. Many states have loopholes in the law allowing for electric/gas powered bicycles. If you have checked with your local DMV and are convinced that you need to register your motorized bicycle you can use your bill of sale along with the 10 digit bicycle frame number located beneath the bottom bracket of the frame to obtain a registration.
